Shipping & Processing

Your CEX submission begins with a review. Wait for acceptance and shipping instructions before mailing cards.

Before shipping

Do not ship immediately after submitting the form. Cardiplier must first accept the submission, and you must accept the versioned Shipping & Custody Agreement before shipment instructions are provided. A CEX number tracks your request; it does not authorize shipment.

Prepare the cards

Package cards securely against movement and transit damage. You do not need to perform unnecessary sorting before shipment. Tell us about binders, sleeves, top loaders, or a layout you want preserved before shipping; custom reconstruction may need a separate quote.

We may refuse or isolate packages with mold, moisture damage that creates a contamination risk, insects or pests, biological or chemical contamination, or other material safety risks. We will contact you about safe next steps; this does not give Cardiplier a general right to destroy your property.

Inbound shipping

Unless your instructions say otherwise, you arrange and pay for inbound shipment. Use a tracked service, consider carrier protection appropriate to the collection's value, and keep your receipt and tracking number. Cardiplier does not control the package while a carrier has it.

Intake

On receipt, we may document delivery, package condition, photos, approximate volume, games and languages, storage format, submitted scope, and unsupported material. Intake does not by itself constitute a complete inventory, formal appraisal, detailed condition grading, or authentication.

Inspection and quote

After intake and inspection, we provide the final processing scope and quote. Paid processing begins only after you approve it and Stripe confirms payment. If the actual collection materially changes the scope, we pause and seek your approval before materially increasing charges.

Results and disposition

Depending on the approved service, results may include a summary, catalog, manifest, reference-market data, collection map, CSV or export, and disposition options. You can request applicable next steps, including return, an offer, relinquishment of selected cards, or a separately reviewed downstream service. Cards are not sold or relinquished automatically.

Return shipping

Return shipping is normally paid by the customer unless it is included in the service or the return results from a Cardiplier error. Changes to a return address may require reauthentication.
